Black belt academy
The black belt academy class will be on Sunday 25th at 11am. It is important that as many of you make this class as the new techniques for this quarter will be taught, remember that these are the second hardest ones to learn.
Licence renewals
Please can all students and instructors alike take note that without a valid insurance you will not be permitted to train. Also we need you to bring in your old licences at the time you renew as we now work directly with the insurance providers and need your number from the previous insurance slip.

As explained in class you have no cover until your form and payment reach the insurers. Hence these need to be renewed about 4 weeks in advance in a batched lot.
Instructors
The instructor's class this month will be on the 25th at 10am. There will be a review of teaching technique mechanics and new stretches.
CHANGES TO CLASS TIMETABLES
With effect from 1st June all 7pm classes will be adult only attendance. Students who are aged 14 years and above may attend, as may younger students as long as they are either black belts or members of the leadership program.
Black belt class
The class will be on the 12th of this month at 3pm. There is a £2.50 attendance fee charge (since the class has to be self-funding). Please be aware that this class will be full on and unlike like anything you may as yet have experienced.

Grading
Remember the grading is now at the Woking College, Rydens Way, Woking GU22 9DL
This month's grading will be on Sunday the 25th Team 1 is on duty. The format for the day will run to a new timetable, shown below: -
12am All duty instructors arrived and ready/ time for lunch and pre grading briefing.
12.10am Line up, pledge & principles
12.15pm Brown, Red & purple belts
12.55pm Blue, Green & Orange belts
1.25pm Gold & Yellow belts
1.55pm White belts
Grading results will be given at the end of each group testing.
All people who remain on the confirmed list must return their grading application form with payment no later than the 20th of the month. Failure to attend the grading without 48 hours prior notification will result in 50% of the prepaid grading fee being lost. Application forms can be obtained from your Chief Instructors.

T-shirts
The wearing of t-shirts in class is now allowed. Please remember that t-shirts are NOT to be worn at gradings or the seminar. These occasions strictly require the wearing of jackets.
Finally
Practice is something that a number of you need to do more of, make the time ladies and gents it will pay you dividends. Basics are the best thing to practice as they are used throughout the curriculum. Pil Suhng!
